It was mid winter and I decided to make a drive to Susanville, from my home in Cottonwood. Fortunately the snow plow had cleared the highway, so there was no difficulty getting through. Along the way, I stopped the car to look at this slightly iced over pond, however, it still had enough standing water to be reflective. I loved all of the colors, despite the snow of winter, especially the green created by the algae on the surface of the pond.
