The Road Home

I was leaving Morro Bay for my home in the Bay Area and decided to take a little more time and drive up the spectacular California Coast. The drive would include areas in and around Big Sur, passing by one wonderful ocean view after the next.
I stopped to take a picture of Highway One, before departing on the long drive. Later I painted a gold road running up the side of the mountains and into the sky, as that indeed is our final road home.
