Take Responsibility

Oil painting on Canvas, 36x48", Museum quality canvas, 2" sides are also painted.

You can imagine my shock when I awoke with this image on my mind one morning. I painted the vision exactly as I received it, the White Buffalo, with a lance in it's side. The flags on the lance represent all of the countries who have the highest C02 emissions. It is a pretty shocking picture, certainly not one I would usually have painted but I felt compelled to bring the vision to life since it was a very strong image conveyed to me by "Spirit" about Climate change.

The fires are raging due to drought and in the background are oil wells which are pumping the decay of yesterday, that we now fill our cars with, There is a fracking station on the right tapping into natural gas and filling the lake and the ground with putrid water.

This is a sunset scene because this will be the Sacred Buffalo's last day on earth but I suspect if we keep on poisoning this planet that our last day is also around the corner.
