Tent Rocks, NM

I was visiting an artist friend of mine in New Mexico and while I was there, she took me to see the Tent Rock formations on the Cochiti Indian Reservation. It looked like an Indian encampment with all of the conical formations in the area. There were also spectacular, multi hued cliffs surrounding the Tent Rocks and this painting captures some of the colors exposed in the rocks.
